What's covered

Hardware defects and device failures, post-deployment misconfigurations, overnight replacement shipping, return shipping for failed devices, OEM repair coordination and logistics, key injection on all replacements, and spare-pool storage at the NewBold depot.

What's not covered

Software defects or software failure, accessories (cables, power supplies, stylus pens, privacy shields), damage from alteration, tampering, or unauthorized repair, damage from accident, abuse, or misuse, and damage from fire, flood, or other acts of God.

HOW IT WORKS

Purchase

Add NewBold Device Protection to any payment device purchased through NewBold; warranty is invoiced per device at time of shipment.

Device failure

Report the issue to NewBold; coverage is verified and a replacement is initiated from your managed spare pool.

Replacement ships

A pre-configured, key-injected replacement ships overnight with a return label for the failed unit in the box.

Return & repair

The failed device is returned within 15 days; NewBold coordinates OEM repair and returns it to your spare pool.

Pool replenished

Repaired devices are re-injected, tested, and returned to your spare pool, ready for the next replacement cycle.

What does Device Protection cover?

Hardware defects, device failures, and post-deployment misconfigurations, with overnight replacement, OEM repair coordination, key injection on replacements, and spare-pool storage. Software failure, accessories, and damage from abuse, tampering, or acts of God are excluded.

How fast does a replacement arrive?

Orders placed by 3:00 PM ET ship for overnight delivery, and the replacement arrives key-injected and ready to transact.

Coverage is the same at every level. Pricing scales with the term you choose (one, two, or three years), fleet size, and device type.

Which devices are eligible?

Any payment device procured through NewBold, including models from Ingenico, Verifone, PAX, Dejavoo, NEXGO, and ID Tech.

What happens if I don't return the failed device?

Failed units must be returned within 15 days. Unreturned devices are billed at full replacement cost.

Why are replacements key-injected?

Replacements are injected through NewBold’s PCI-certified facility so they arrive ready to transact and your payment security and compliance are maintained.
